Gaza Bleeds: Israeli Attacks Kill Nearly Twenty Palestinians
In the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, an Israeli aircraft strike on a residential building claimed the lives of four Palestinians, including an infant, Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed.
Two Palestinians were killed and additional casualties reported following another Israeli airstrike targeting a home in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital said.
An Israeli attack on Abu Helo School, which serves as a shelter for displaced Palestinians in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, injured several civilians and triggered panic among the refugees, a medical source at Al-Awda Hospital stated.
Meanwhile, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital received one deceased and multiple injured after an Israeli airstrike struck a rooftop room of a house in central Deir al-Balah.
The Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis reported receiving the bodies of two people killed by an Israeli drone attack on the Khan Younis-Rafah western road in southern Gaza.
Four family members were killed, and others wounded, when a strike hit a tent sheltering displaced individuals in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
Three Palestinians died in a separate drone strike on a tent near Nasser Hospital, also in Khan Younis, where displaced families had sought refuge.
Another individual was killed near the Shuhada Mosque area in Khan Younis, with several injured in a separate strike on a second tent sheltering displaced persons in al-Mawasi.
Since October 2023, the Israeli military has reportedly killed over 57,500 Palestinians in Gaza, with the majority being women and children. The ongoing bombardment has devastated the territory, causing widespread food shortages and the outbreak of diseases.
On Monday, US President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. Meanwhile, Israeli officials continue negotiations with Hamas in Doha, Qatar, seeking to secure a ceasefire and facilitate the release of hostages.
